The door to nowhere

Seems like forever since I last blogged. A couple of reasons why, one I couldn’t access my account because I forgot my login and password…stupid, and second, my next novel, The Dragons Redress, has been slow going on this latest chapter.
The last two chapters I found to be somewhat difficult because the settings are actual places, Vassar College and Lyndhurst Castle. The research and photo shoots of each place was a lot of fun, because I really love to delve into all that history.
The difficult part comes in rendering what I see into words that I feel does the place justice. Also, I want to be certain that someone who knows these places will see an accurate picture in design and history as they read my words.

I do like how the chapters turned out, and I am sure there will be more to flesh out when I go back over it, but all in all I am happy with it.

Book status: 3 Chapters, 52 pages, 15,000 words.

The door at Lyndhurst Castle that goes nowhere…or does it?  This is an actual false door, which gave me the inspiration for a possible portal.
